Change video categories

Issue:

Need to change video categories and online day(s)

Solution:

  1. Login to DES then proceed to Administration and hit System Setup.

2. Select Video/Case tab then open the Video Categories tab

3. Right-click on the category you need to change, then select Edit and enter the new name in the Description field.

4. If you need to change the number of days that videos with this category will remain online before it is available for purging, enter a desired number of days in the Day(s) field.

5. If you need to change the ‘Backup Enabled’ status fore this category, select a new value from the Backup Enabled drop-down list.

6. Then save.
