How to generate Config file for H1

# Generate Config file for H1

Issue:
The car’s H1 is not connecting to the server.

Cause:
The H1 has a misconfigured template.config file.

Resolution:

1. Check if some car having H1 is in the station and turned on and uploading fine.

2. Connect to the DES via putty.

3. Go to a folder where you can save the config.

4. Connect to putty as “root” user. Password – support$01

5. Run “rsync -rav ubuntu@:h1_exe/config/ .” (without double quotes “” and operators).

6. That will ask for the password – (Password: ubuntu).

7. Then copy the five files to the folder you are in on the DES.

8. Update the template.config file to change the wireless IP and the Unit name (wireless IP and the Unit name should be as the problem having car).

9. Select the five files, then right-click and Send To -> compressed folder (name the folder config.zip).

10. Copy all 6 files to the USB drive of the problem-having car in the \cobanvideos\bin\ folder.

11. Have the customer plug it into the car’s H1.
