Starting on June 26, 2023, we are excited to announce that our GPS Vehicle Tracker will now report to a better, more robust, and more secure cloud management platform, SF AVL GPS Tracking. This upgraded management platform fully supports our AVL/GPS tracking solution.

A configuration change will be required for our GPS Tracker devices to ensure seamless operation and continued management of our systems. We want to assure Safe Fleet customers utilizing the GPS Tracker base that the migration process will be conducted without any service interruptions.

No customer action is necessary. On June 27th, a configuration command will be issued to implement the required changes. Any GPS Tracker base that comes online after this date will automatically receive a configuration command line, enabling it to report to the new management portal. It’s important to note that this configuration change is solely related to management, and no downtime is expected for AVL GPS Tracking devices.
