Description:
vMax View install/update issues caused due to Antivirus Sophos AV
Symptoms Error:
Some customers may run into issues with installing latest vMax View software or updating an older version of the software
Please confirm that all the updates are running on the customer PC including having the Microsoft .NET Framework v4.5 or higher.
Resolution:
Once you have confirmed that all the requirements are installed for vMax View 4.10
Then make recommendations to the customer that their Antivirus Sophos AV does prevent the installation of the software and therefore they need to talk to their IT Department in order to implement exceptions for our software.
Once they implement the exception, they should be able to install the vMax software without any issues.
