Rebooting a Device


You can initiate a device reboot remotely from Evidence Manager. A reboot might be necessary in certain situations. For example, after configuring a device, a reboot ensures that all the settings are applied correctly.


To reboot a device:

  1. Log in to Evidence Manager.
  2. Expand Devices under Device Manager, find the device of your choice, and make sure that it is connected.
  3. Right-click this device, and click Reboot Device.

As the device reboots, it will disconnect from Evidence Manager. After the reboot completes, the device will connect automatically.
