Logging in with Email Based Authentication

TOC

For Users Non-Migrated to Email-Based Authentication

Existing Safe Fleet Cloud Application Suite users who have not been migrated to the new authentication protocol will find a new login interface when trying to access the URL. The first time the system will display the Fleet ID dialog.

When the Fleet ID window displays:

  1. Enter your Fleet ID in the text-box.
  2. Click Continue. A new dialog appears.

The new dialog includes a Log in section only for migrated users to enter their Email and Password. Non-migrated users should ignore that section for now and initiate the migration process. To do so:

  1. Click the blue Migrate button at the end of the Account Migration box.

When the Log in dialog displays:

  1. Enter your current fleet username (as usual).

  2. Enter your current fleet password (as usual).

  3. Click the Login button.

You will receive an email request to Confirm Email. In the dialog:

  1. Enter the Email address that you will use to Log in into the application suite in the corresponding text-box.
  2. Confirm your Email in the confirmation text-box below.
  3. Click the Confirm button.

A Reset Password request will be sent to the email address you previously entered. Once the window displays:

  1. Click the Reset Password button.

A new Reset password dialog will appear. There:

  1. Type your new Password in the corresponding text-box.
  2. Confirm Password below.
  3. Click Reset.
  1. You will receive a confirmation. Access the Safe Fleet Cloud Application URL again and restart the Log in process as normal.

Once the Login screen is available:

  1. Enter your Email in the corresponding text-box.
  2. Type your new Password below.
  3. Select Remember my account if desired.
  4. Click the Log in button. You will get access to the Safe Fleet Cloud Application as a migrated user.

For Users Already Migrated to Email-Based Authentication

Users migrated to Email-Based Authentication can directly access the Safe Fleet Cloud Application Suite by following some simple steps.

If your computer is not saving the Fleet Information from earlier sessions, the Fleet ID dialog will display first. In the dialog:

  1. Enter your Fleet ID in the text-box.
  2. Click Continue. A new dialog appears.

TIP: Skip Fleet ID

Users migrated to Email-Based Authentication may be able to access the Log In dialog directly without having to enter the Fleet ID. This happens if the user’s computer saves the Fleet information after having logged in on previous occasions.

Migrated users can ignore the Account Migration box presented in the Login screen  and only Email and Password will be required within the Log in dialog.

To get access to the application suite:

  1. Enter your Email in the text-box.
  2. Enter you new Password.
  3. Select Remember my account if desired.
  4. Click Log in. You will access the Safe Fleet Cloud Application Suite.
